Aezion is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer responsible for day to day, hands-on administration of Aezion IT infrastructure encompassing:

    • Planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related local, Aezion Private Cloud, Azure and AWS infrastructure.
    • Technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
    • Ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to security and organizational policies and performance requirements:



  • Ensure 24×7 IT infrastructure availability, including on-call availability.
  • Coordinate infrastructure operation, administration and planning with offshore network and infrastructure engineers.
  • Develop library of deployable and documented scripts, processes, and procedures for DevOps support, cloud migration and other routine operational tasks.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and OS patches.
  • Forecast system demands and recommend upgrades, expansions and reconfiguration.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource (network, CPU, memory, and disk) optimization (including production and maintenance of infrastructure documentation) as required.
  • Windows Server installation, support, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor data center and local office internet connections and ensure system health and availability.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions or risks.
  • Support the secure design, development, installation/configuration, and remediation of local and data center computer hardware, software, systems, networks, peripherals, and cloud properties.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of infrastructure management policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Assist with Service Assurance, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and conduct of incident response investigations.
  • Assist with Client-specific infrastructure migrations (on-premises to cloud, IaaS to PaaS, etc.), planning and other collaboration efforts.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested.



  • Experience with on-call operation and management of 24×7 global infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud services for DevOps, Container/Orchestration, networking, security, data, and storage.
  • Hands-on infrastructure management experience with key network technologies:
    • Network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), protocols (TCP/IP/UDP, OSPF/BGP/VLAN, IPSEC/SSL-VPN, Radius/TACACS) and OAMP best practices
    • Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, .Net, Azure and Windows data center
    • Virtualization, VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESXi
    • Datrium hyper-converged storage (VMWare managed)
    • Linux/Ubuntu
    • Fortigate firewalls, Arista switches
    • Web Services, REST APIs
  • Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure technology standards, guidelines, and tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of information security standards, guidelines and best practices.
  • Experience working in a multi-customer, Enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience designing, implementing, delivering, and managing data security standards-compliant, business-critical IT and application hosting infrastructure.
  • Relevant experience hosting SaaS applications in both on-premises datacenter environments and public cloud.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required.
